These terms apply to the SXfont app and to licenses bought for it. SXfont is made by Amir Islamov, an independent developer. By installing SXfont or buying a license, you agree to these terms.
Free trial
For the first 14 days, everything in SXfont works, with no account or card needed. After the trial, browsing, search, filters, tags and favorites keep working. Activating fonts in the system requires a license.
The license
- A license is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it doesn’t expire.
- A license is for one person and works on one Mac at a time, unless your purchase says otherwise.
- To move the license to another Mac, deactivate it in the app on the old one, then enter the key on the new one.
- Please don’t share, resell or publish your key, and don’t try to get around the license check. Keys that are shared publicly may be blocked.
Refunds
If SXfont isn’t right for you, write to amirka174@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase, and I’ll refund the full price, no questions asked. The key is deactivated after the refund. If the law where you live gives you more rights, those apply.
Your fonts
SXfont shows and activates fonts you already have, plus free fonts from Google Fonts. It doesn’t give you any rights to fonts: make sure your font licenses allow the way you use them. Google Fonts are distributed under their own open licenses, mostly the SIL Open Font License.
Your files
SXfont reads fonts from the folders you connect and never modifies font files. It removes files only when you ask it to, for example when you move duplicates to the Trash. As with any app, keep backups of important files.
No warranty
SXfont is provided “as is.” I work hard to make it reliable, but I can’t promise it will be free of errors or work with every font and every app. As far as the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect damages, lost data or lost profits, and my total liability is limited to the price you paid for the license.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top of the page will change too. The terms that applied when you bought your license keep applying to that purchase.
